Freezers is a private company, set up by SBP and
its members to establish and operate a new vegetable freezing facility
in Eyemouth.
Using
modern, efficient equipment on a good site, the team is dedicated to producing
top quality product to meet the most exacting requirements of the moment.
The operation has been designed from the outset to operate to EFSIS standards and with control systems providing traceability from sowing to palletainer.
Once frozen, product will move into the immediately adjoining commercial cold store, thus ensuring optimal temperature control.
Eyemouth Freezers primary objective is to process customer's vegetables efficiently so as to maximise added value. The facility was commissioned in June 2000.
